Gibbs Media Group offers a Film & Media Literacy Class to schools and non-profit organizations including churches, in Houston and surrounding areas. We are happy to travel and bring fun education to students and communities!
In class, young filmmakers will work in groups where communicating their ideas and reasoning with each other will be important for their films.
Filmmakers can engage themselves and each other on a physical level for better retention, real world experience, and stress-free fun.
We want young filmmakers to take many possibilities and viewpoints into account for how to create and complete a film with a team of other creatives.
Our young filmmakers will learn to tackle problems and resolve conflicts as they're forced to make the most of their provided props to tell their stories.
Young filmmakers will have new confidence as storytellers when they learn to make smart and creative decisions in the filmmaking process.
Qualified teacher and Video Producer, Linda Gibbs, will facilitate these exciting sessions for young filmmakers. She has over 11 years of experience teaching media production and holds certification in Technology Application for grades EC-12.
